INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (July 24, 2012) – Baldwin & Lyons, Inc. announced that Todd A. Carrier has joined the company as director of risk management. In his new role, Todd will be responsible for leading the risk management and loss prevention department. As part of the company’s overall strategic plan, Todd will play a key role in supporting and enhancing the company’s leading position in the motor carrier industry. He will directly manage a team of loss prevention specialists to execute risk assessment and improvement strategies.

Todd brings 17 years of insurance experience managing relationships with multi-line Fortune 500 customers, deploying product and service offerings, and building solid distribution channel relations. He has a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety & Health, an Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Commercial Underwriting (AU) designations and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt in process improvement.
