SPOTLIGHT ON SAFETY:
Daily Express Honors Safe Drivers

On Jan. 8, Daily Express, Inc. held its 44th Annual Safety Awards Banquet to honor 217 contractors and drivers. Safety awards were presented for 12 consecutive months of operating without involvement in a preventable accident.

At the banquet, Kevin Frey was named Contractor of the Year, Doug Fancher was recognized as the Company Driver of the Year and Todd Long, President and CEO, presented contrator Andy Seipel with a 39-year safe driving award. In addition, Buck Gordon, Charlie Gordon, Mike Ongley and Bud Vianueva were inducted into the Million Mile Club for driving accident-free for more than one million miles. Coordinator Chris Rabold and his Jacksonville, Fla. fleet were presented with a plaque for winning the 2009-2010 Winter Safety Challenge.

Daily Express of Carlisle, Penn., follows the official rules of the American Trucking Associations governing the issuance of safety awards.

Congratulations to these Daily Express independent contractors and company drivers on their achievement and for their dedication to keeping the roads safe.
